10 areas where we can have a system like ASRS



Aviation Safety Reporting System was a reporting system where people( mainly pilots) can report errors so that others can benefit from it.
  1. Teacher's Feedback System: Current system is bizarre and i dont think that it serves the purpose. Teachers should document their experiences in handling some difficult students so that others can learn easily.
  2. A general purpose document for a client in an IT company so that every new member knows all the important details.
  3. Anonymous feedback option on my blog.
  4. Some general travel guides by tourism departments on their official website. 
  5. A feedback system for India roads .
  6. A book on how to do reasearch for your Masters and Doctorate.
  7. Common research book on addictions.
  8. A parental feedback magazine so that other parents can learn about parenting.
  9. A food guide for tourists.
  10. A feedback mechanism for railways in India.



10 designs of my environment which are not made considering the human factor


  1. Yoga Mat: I think that the thickness of yoga mats is very less. The default yoga mats should be 8mm thick not 6 mm.
  2. Car Seats: I think they are more comfortable than it is required. They are not really ideal for a taller man. (Personal Bias) 
  3. Heels: Whatever the trending fashion is, things should not make a person uncomfortable.
  4. Superbikes: Is the struggle with heavy bikes worth?
  5. Location of dustbins: A dustbin should be at a distance from a tree. 
  6. Advertising boards on roads: There should be a limit on how much information can be displayed on a traffic signal. We should not increase the mental workload.
  7. Animal toys: I think there should be some basic rules for playing with animal toys. Kids should not throw animal toys. This will have a subconscious effect.
  8. A standard rule for the switches: We should have a universal rule like the first switch for light, second switch for the fan, etc
  9. Better symbols on doors for push and pull. 
  10. Better sachets for ketchup. I don't have to struggle every time.

In reverse engineering, you find out the users based on the design and usage by thinking backward like looking at a bicycle and trying to find the average height of people who use it.

  1. Finding the type of people who use ipads- gamers, kids, etc.
  2. Books or Kindle: People who are moving will like to prefer Kindle. 
  3. Cars: Designed for people who are of average height or have shorter legs. 
  4. Facebook: Engineered for people who like to know what others are doing.
  5. Punjabi Songs and Bollywood movies: For people who want to get off their mental or physical stress by using these two mediums as a way of escape. Not for people who want to think.
  6. Bars/Drugs: For people who want to forget their worries. Not for who want to improve their lives. 
  7. Any video app: Generally for people who don't want to type/read and just like to be a consumer of information. 
  8. Designing of electric switches in houses: Children cant reach that so only for adults. 
  9. Twitters: For thinkers/ experts/ stars to connect with their followers.
  10. Fashion/Trending clothes: For people who find their validation in external appearance.

  1. Don't you find it annoying when there is a lot of noise in the ground? How do you focus there?
  2. Nationalism or Passion- out of these two reasons, which is more prominent for you to play the game?

  1. We will have devices like kindles in schools where we can solve problems and check solutions instantly.
  2. Non-Fiction genre will become more engaging with questions at the end. We can easily make notes.
  3. Content will be the real thing since plugins like Grammarly can always help with vocabulary and grammar. 
  4. Every book with a stopping cue so that users can think a bit about the topic.
  5. Signatures on the book will be replaced with Selfies with the Author.
  6. There will be no need of the translators as we will have software who will do this job easily.
  7. Algorithms will be able to predict the quantity of book a person should read in a day.
  8. People will get a lot of time to read books when self-driving cars arrive.
  9. Children books will have games on phones so that child can actively engage.
  10. Every book will have an optimum count of days which is best for that book to read.

  1. There should be more entertainment tax on obscene songs (especially Punjabi ones) and vulgar movies.
  2. "Innovative or Hard Working Teachers of the society" be given more relief in taxes.
  3. Companies like Facebook or Netflix should pay the local taxes of any country.
  4. People who plant trees should be the only ones who get HRA exemption.
  5. Royal Enfield Tax: This tax should be levied upon bikers whose bikes make a lot of noise.
  6. Stupidity Tax: Government should come with a list of stupid acts and tax those people. Some acts like people telling cricketers how to play when they have not faced a single ball in their life or people not following rules on railway crossings. This should be done to save humanity.
  7. Food wastage in Marriages tax
  8. AI Tax: Every company which uses AI to make their users addictive to the content should pay this.
  9.  Water Wastage Tax
  10. Carbon Footprint Tax: Everyone should have a carbon footprint number and if he exceeds a certain limit, he/she should pay a tax.

  1. If air travel becomes easier, won’t we make this more unsustainable?
  2. Should the people who bicycle get an exemption from some taxes?
  3. How do you balance the time, money and environment factor? Situations like you are in a hurry to go somewhere, you book a single cab. A single cab does more harm than a shared cab.
  4. Can there be cars where a person can sit straight not in a convex posture?
  5. Does having a lot of money make you ignorant towards the environment ? Should we charge those people more who makes noise with lamberodgini or noisy Royal Enfields?
  6. How many years are we far away from cardless travel or ticket buying travel? Like sensors recognizing you and charging you accordingly.

  1. You can watch cricket matches only if you play cricket. Otherwise, it's just passive consumption.
  2. You can watch travel vlogs only if you travel once a month.
  3. You can watch dance videos or listen to songs if you dance on the songs. (Not everyone can sing and they should not try either.
  4. You can eat fast food but only if you prepare it yourself.
  5. You can drink Coke if you have invested in that company( Just like Warren Buffet)
  6. You can use apps/websites if you ever build one. ( Only for Software Engineers)
  7. You must write if you read books. It can be an article or a journal.
  8. If you go to art museums, you should try painting.
  9. If you criticize the government, you can plant some trees. 
  10. If you like thriller movies, try writing some thriller articles.

10 things like negative feedback ( You want to rid of a habit and every time you do that habit, you do one negative thing like slapping oneself when I use Facebook.)
  1. You are addicted to a tv series. For episode you see, you have to run 1km. If you don't run 1 km, you can’t see next.
  2. You like eating fast food. Every time you do that, you delete one app from your phone.
  3. You want to quit drinking. For every beer bottle you drink, you have to climb stairs of any building with greater than 20 floors.
  4. You waste your time in thinking about sex. Every time you eject, you write a 100å word paragraph about anything. You only masturbate when you have completed the task.
  5. Every time you eat fast food, you call someone you hate and tell one good thing about them.
  6. Every time you miss a day working out. You delete the number of your crush or unfollow her on Instagram.
  7. Every time you think negative about anyone, you go silent for 1 hour. Complete silence.
  8. You are addicted to watching matches. For every match you see, you drink 5 glasses of juice or lemon water.
  9. You are addicted to Youtube. Every time you spend more than 30 mins a day, you kiss a dog. 
  10. You oversleep a lot. You can oversleep but those extra hours should be on the floor. 
  11. You use WhatsApp a lot. Every time you indulge in meaningless conversation, you exit one group or delete a number.
  12. You miss a lecture in college. You miss lunch for that day.
  13. You like or comment on someone’s picture. You can but you have to call that person first. 
  14. You want to watch a movie in the theatre. First, complete one MOOC.
