10 thoughts about BCCI:

10 thoughts about BCCI:
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is the national governing body for cricket in India.

  1. Being a sports board, BCCI should encourage to people play more but all it does is that more and more people just watch. None of the products it endorses is a healthy brand. eg. Coca Cola, Lays, Kurkure.
  2. Cricket is considered a religion in India and I hate religions.
  3. BCCI and Bollywood: Stopping this country from progressing.
  4. Cricket is one of the most passive games. Even if any government encourages people to play sport, cricket should be last on the list.
  5. By constantly bombarding ads while watching a match, they are messing up with the focussing power of people.
  6. People watching 5-6 hours of cricket match are being unproductive for a long stretch
  7. IPL, the league spanning over 50 days is another way to gain maximum attention of the people.
  8. The transformation of cricket from a 5 day test to match to a 6 hour T20 match results in the changing the approach of players towards the game. Whether its good or bad is debatable.
  9. Indian Media focussing on personal lives of cricket players is another negative thing of this technology era.
  10. Watching someone play a sport on a screen is a silly concept to me. I cant see other's playing a sport.
