- Eat Slowly. You should finish your food in 20 minutes.
- Avoid meat. It is difficult for your body to digest it.
- You should not eat anything 6 hours before doing yoga.
- Drink Lemon Water first thing in the morning.
- There should be no concept of cheating day.
- Dont underestimate the effects of psychological effects of activities like praying before eating, eating in an erect posture.
- Prefer honey over sugar.
- Stay away from food advertisements.
- If you want to quit some fast food, try to link the food with something disgusting.
- Ideally, try to shift towards eating two times a day.
- Dont drink cold waters. You should drink which has temperature within a range of your body temperature.
- Dont watch news/negative things while eating something. If possible, avoid watching videos at all.
- Try to do most of your chewing in the mouth. If you dont do it, the stomach has to spend energies to do it.
- Not eating something packed in plastic will also save environment.
- Organise everything in your food plate properly. It has psychological effect.
- Always eat something at home when going to a city.
- Always have a water bottle with you in summers. Sometimes you mistake thirst for hunger.
- You can refuse unhealthy foods even if they are made by someone with love. This tiny cheat is like a hole in a big container. It will open up everything.
- Your health should be your top priority.
- Be happy when you eat food. you will eat less .
- Prefer plants over meat, uncooked over cooked and water over soda .
- Dont drink water half an hour before or after the meal.
- If you must eat non veg, fish is the best choice. It has omega 3 which is good for brain.
