10 changes in the construction of homes


  1. All the new houses must have functional rainwater harvesting systems.
  2. NZEB- Net Zero Energy buildings being more frequent.
  3. An upper limit to the number of floors that can be constructed so that there is limited pressure on water resources.
  4. The concept of yoga room or exercise room (or space in terrace) so that people keep their health on a priority.
  5. Fans and lights getting switched on/off on sensing motion.
  6. Make a rule which makes it mandatory to have every house being exposed to a certain quantity of sunlight.
  7. Bathrooms having some limit on water usage.
  8. Societies in metro cities to meet certain play conditions so that children can play.
  9. Houses insulated enough to avoid external noise.
  10. A world where no one brings his work or technology into their personal bedrooms.
